Acceptance of Terms
These WaitForDate terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WaitForDate website and dating services. By creating an account, browsing profiles or otherwise using WaitForDate, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. These Terms are effective as of September 23, 2026. Continued use of WaitForDate after any future revision of this page constitutes your acceptance of the updated version, so we recommend checking back periodically. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the service immediately.
Eligibility & 18+ Age Requirement
WaitForDate is strictly for adults 18 years of age and older, with no exception made for minors under any circumstance. By registering, you certify that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement for adult dating services in your jurisdiction. WaitForDate does not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create or maintain a profile.
Any account suspected of belonging to a minor, or found to contain false age information, is suspended and removed without prior notice, and the associated data is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy. Age statements made during registration are treated as legally binding self-certifications, and misrepresenting your age is grounds for immediate termination.
Account Registration & User Responsibilities
Creating a WaitForDate account means agreeing to keep your profile honest and your access secure. Each member is responsible for the following:
- Provide accurate, current registration details, including a truthful age, and update them if they change.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and never share your account with another person.
- Maintain only one personal, non-commercial account for your own individual use.
- Accept full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized or not.
- Notify WaitForDate promptly at the contact details below if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
WaitForDate's no-bots, no-fakes policy exists to keep matching real, and the online dating rules below are enforced without exception. The following conduct is prohibited on WaitForDate:
Harassment & Abuse
Threatening, hateful or sexually harassing messages, unwanted persistent contact after a match has been declined, and any content that demeans another member based on identity, appearance or background.
Fraud, Impersonation & Fake Profiles
Requesting money or financial information from other members, posing as someone else, using another person's photos, or operating a profile that misrepresents your identity, age or intentions.
Automated Bots & Data Scraping
Using scripts, bots or automated tools to create accounts, send messages, or extract profile data, photos or contact information from the platform.
Illegal or Non-Consensual Content
Sharing another member's private information without consent, posting unlawful material, or any content that is non-consensual, exploitative or otherwise violates applicable law.
Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension or permanent termination, as described in the Termination section below.
User Content, Profile Accuracy & Free-to-Start Service
Content License & Accuracy
You retain ownership of the photos, bio text and messages you post, but you grant WaitForDate a limited, non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content within the platform so your profile can be shown to other members. You are solely responsible for ensuring your profile content is accurate, lawful and that you hold the rights to any photo you upload.
Free-to-Start Service Disclaimer
Registration and core browsing on WaitForDate are free to start, and no payment details are required to create a profile or send an initial like. Available features may change, be added, or be modified over time as the service evolves. WaitForDate does not guarantee any particular outcome, including that you will receive a match, response or relationship as a result of using the platform.
Intellectual Property Rights
The WaitForDate name, logo, interface design, source code and all associated content, excluding member-submitted material, are the property of WaitForDate and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Members are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial dating purposes only. No portion of the WaitForDate design or codebase may be copied, reverse-engineered or redistributed without prior written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
WaitForDate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of security incidents, and we make no representation about the identity, intentions, or conduct of any member you interact with, on or off the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WaitForDate and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damages related to interactions with other members. As with any online dating rules worth following, always meet new connections in a public place, tell a trusted friend your plans, and never send money to someone you have not met in person.
Termination, Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
WaitForDate may suspend or terminate an account, without prior notice, for violating these Terms, providing false information, or engaging in conduct that harms other members or the platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting support at the email address below.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from your use of WaitForDate should first be raised with our support team, with the goal of reaching an informal resolution before pursuing any other legal remedy available under applicable law.
Privacy, GDPR & CCPA, Changes to These Terms & Contact
How WaitForDate collects, uses and protects your personal data - including the rights available to EU residents under GDPR and California residents under CCPA - is described in full in our Privacy Policy. These Terms may be revised from time to time; any update will carry a new effective date at the top of this page, and continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
